Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, it is important to me that I assist each skater to develop to their full potential, and that I foster their growth as they aspire into competitive, test, or recreational skaters. I believe in creating a positive environment that boosts self-esteem and confidence in the skater as a whole, but also helps them withhold their priorities outside of skating.  As I share my passion for the sport with them, I also strive to cultivate skills that will benefit them in their personal lives now and in the future.

5. Competed at the 1995 Eastern Canadian Divisional Championships in Novice Dance

Rates

Freestyle and Skills: $10.00 per 15 mins

Dance/Partnering: $12.00 per 15 mins

Pairs/Couple Dance: $12.00 per 15 mins shared between skaters

Semi-Privates:

1. •$12/15 minutes for freestyle/skills, divided equally among all skaters in group
2. •$14/15 minutes for dance, divided equally among all skaters in group

Test Fees

1. •$15/dance test
2. •$15/portion of Free Skate Test
3. •$15/skills test
4. •Other Expenses – meals, travel, accommodation and all other costs to be shared by all competitors

Competition Coaching

Practice: $12.00 (15 minutes)

Performance: Equivalent of fees for two lessons

Other expenses: Meals, travel, accommodation and other costs to be shared by competitors equally.

Mileage is calculated by the Skate Canada rate of $0.40/km.

Music Research, Editing and Taping

1-2.5 minutes – $30

3-4.5 minutes – $40

Editing – $10-$40

Includes 2 CDs, each additional CD is $5
